The Residences at Sugar Camp apartment building is proposed to become one of the largest buildings in the City of Oakwood, Ohio. It is proposed to accommodate 135 apartments at the northeast corner of Kramer Road & West Schantz Avenue. A public hearing on the site is scheduled for Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. in the Oakwood City Council Chambers, 30 Park Avenue, Dayton, OH 45419. A copy of the plans submitted to the City of Oakwood Planning Board are available for download below in PDF format. The public is encouraged to attend and offer input.
If you are unable to attend the meeting and would still like to provide input, it is recommended that you pursue the following:
1. Email comments/concerns to Mr. Jay A. Weiskircher, City of Oakwood Asst. City Manager/Director of Personnel/Zoning. 2. Request that the City of Oakwood hold a neighborhood discussion meeting to focus on the proposed development. 3. Email comments/concerns to Planning Board Members and City Council members (William D. Duncan, Steven Byington, Stanley Castleman, Anne Hilton, Rob Stephens). 4. Send emails to the editor of the Oakwood Register and the editor of the Dayton Daily News.
